OVERVIEW:

The Fuels Product Scheduler Manager will lead and direct a group of highly motivated and skilled product schedulers.

This group will provide fuel supply to multiple terminals while managing bulk and rack inventories at the most cost-effective levels and making sure we always have the capabilities to meet the needs of our stores. This includes tasks that must be done on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The primary trait needed for success will be attention for detail and the ability to successfully prioritize and perform the required duties and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Provide direction, guidance and leadership to a team of Product Schedulers that have daily responsibility for managing ~7 B gallons of fuel to 7โ€‘Eleven/ Speedway stores on an annual basis, this includes dayโ€‘toโ€‘day activities across 4,500+ stores, 180+ fuel terminals and 9 Pipeline systems.
  • Strong ability to prioritize time based on business impact.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted timely and in the most cost-effective manner, while optimizing the system to capture full monetary value.
  • Conduct trend and cost analysis.
  • Review supply forecasts for contract compliance and manage allocations for store demand and terminal throughput obligations.
  • Proactively identify commercial opportunities with Fuel Traders to support supply needs at ~30 Bulk and multiple Rack terminals, via Truck, Rail, Pipeline and Waterborne transport modes.
  • Work closely with the Director, Fuels Supply & Optimization and the SVP, Fuels Supply and Trading.
  • Work crossโ€‘functionally with the Transportation team for execution of 2,000+ deliveries per day and the Pricing team to ensure alignment on business strategies and initiatives to achieve holistic Fuel Department goals.
  • In depth understanding of system to support required set ups with Carriers, Terminal and Supply partners.
  • Work closely with Accounting and Midโ€‘office team to verify costs and volumes, and reconcile any variances, as needed.
  • Manage projects to improve operational efficiencies, processes and best practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree preferred

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 5+ years
