What does a fuel service technician do?

A Fuel Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fuel storage and dispensing systems, including tanks, pumps, and lines at gas stations, commercial facilities, or industrial sites. Their duties include inspecting equipment for safety and compliance, troubleshooting issues, conducting regular maintenance, and ensuring that all work follows environmental and safety regulations. They may also handle emergency repairs and assist with new equipment installations. Strong mechanical skills, attention to safety, and knowledge of fuel system regulations are important in this role.
