Under the supervision of the Administrative Officer 1, the Management Services Technician (MST) will be responsible for ordering supplies, creating, and executing purchase orders, service orders, and contracts as needed. Processing invoices and P-Cards in FI$CAL. Ensuring the proper procurement processes are being used. Track all purchases made using Excel and FI$CAL reports. Assist with travel arrangements, travel advances, and expense reimbursements. Monthly reporting of vehicle mileage and non-fuel operating expenses to HQ and/or DGS for leased vehicles.
The MST will also assist with daily posting of Corpsmember time/leave in C3. Completing and processing all staff and Corpsmember payroll including overtime. Processing Worker's Comp Claims and distributing accordingly. Inputting Corpsmember hiring, extension, transfer, promotion, and termination documents in C3.
Assisting the Administrative Officer and Con Sup with the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff assigned. Participate in center, region, and statewide staff meetings providing input and information relative to the program. Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive matters regarding staff and CMs. Track and update staff training spreadsheet monthly for required staff trainings.

Working Conditions
This position will report to the Chico Center Located at 341 Huss Drive Chico, CA 95928.
In Office - This position is classified as "In Office" and is not eligible for telework.
Will work in a climate-controlled office. Sitting for long periods of time.
Minimal traveling may be required for trainings and travel to the Redding Center. State required travel accomplished either through use of State vehicle or travel reimbursement program.
