Job description

Do you enjoy working with your hands, creating beautiful food products, staying busy, and being part of an upbeat, customer-centered environment?

Kilwins is looking for energetic, detail-driven team members to help create the handcrafted sweets our guests know and love, including fresh fudge, caramel corn, brittles, dipped treats, caramel apples, chocolates, and other premium confections.

This is not simply a back-of-house kitchen job.

This is a hands-on production role inside one of the most exciting specialty retail environments in the area, where food craftsmanship, product presentation, guest interaction, and quality all come together.

You will help create the products customers smell, sample, watch being made, and return to purchase again and again.

If you enjoy active work, following quality processes, making things beautifully, and being part of a fun team atmosphere, this is a great fit.

What You'll Do

As a Confection Production & Guest Experience Specialist, you will help:

  • prepare fresh fudge, caramel corn, brittles, dipped treats, caramel, chocolates, and other signature products
  • assist with product packaging, cooling, storing, and presentation
  • maintain recipe consistency and quality control standards
  • offer samples and engage guests with enthusiasm
  • assist with counter sales and customer service when needed
  • restock product displays and monitor freshness
  • maintain a clean, organized, food-safe production and retail environment
  • follow opening, closing, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • help create the warm, handcrafted Kilwins experience guests love

The Type of Person Who Thrives Here

We are looking for someone who is:

  • detail-oriented and quality-focused
  • quick-moving and dependable
  • comfortable working with recipes and repeatable procedures
  • proud of creating products that look great every time
  • guest-friendly and team-oriented
  • cleanliness-minded
  • able to multitask between production and customer interaction
  • someone who enjoys hands-on work and staying productive

Cooking, baking, candy making, food prep, or retail experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm.

Why This Role Is Different

At Kilwins, guests do not just buy sweets they experience them.

They smell fresh caramel corn.

They watch fudge being poured.

They sample chocolates.

They return for products they know are made with care.

That means this role is more than production.

You help create one of the most memorable parts of the Kilwins brand every day.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Employee discounts
  • Training in specialty confection production
  • Growth opportunities within store leadership
  • A fun, active, and team-centered work environment

We'd Especially Love to Meet Someone Who:

  • likes making things with their hands,
  • notices details,
  • enjoys staying busy,
  • takes pride in food presentation,
  • and wants to work in an upbeat specialty sweets environment.

Apply today if you are ready to help create the handcrafted treats and guest moments Kilwins is known for.
