Job description

The Maintenance Technician will assist the Manufacturing Engineer in all Excellerate locations with maintenance tasks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 5 years maintenance or related experience, 2 to 3 years metal fabrication experience, and 1 to 2 years welding experience
Travel: 0-25%
Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6am-6pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited: nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in design, line/cell layout and movement, fabrication, installation of specialized tools, equipment, and material handling devices used for manufacturing.
  • Assist cell work teams with work station design, fabrication and implementation of manufacturing processes, and improvements.
  • Will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Will assist the Facilities Technician with building repair and upkeep as needed.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineer with design, start-up, and application of equipment and tools.
  • Create equipment inspection and repair schedules for preventive maintenance program.
  • Train employees on proper and safe use of equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
