Job description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents. 


The Sales department seeks an assertive, creative, and motivated Group & Premium Sales Intern with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales. This internship is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in sales, offering hands-on experience in group sales, premium sales, and fulfillment while working for the industry’s leading venue management company in sports and entertainment.

This role is expected to last from September 8, 2026 and will end on December 11, 2026.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.50

This position will remain open until June 19, 2026.


  • Create and execute a corporate sales plan for the DLTCC annual holiday themed community engagement events.
  • Participate in developing and implementing premium and group sales initiatives for FSU Basketball, graduations, family shows, concerts, and other events.
  • Prospecting and cold calling new leads for group and premium sales.
  • Provide unsurpassed customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and in person.
  • Assist with updating guest lists and event sheets.
  • Assist with brainstorming ideas for revenue-generating opportunities at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
  • Help with the planning and organizing of various sales initiatives and programs.
  • Sit in on group and premium sales meetings.
  • Interact with clients on event days.
  • Interact with Tucker Center staff from other departments when working on various projects.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

  • Must be a college junior, senior or graduate student.
  • Must be able to work at least 12 hours a week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be proficient in working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be well organized with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at once.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Recommended for Sport Management, or Business Majors.
  • Active involvement in on-campus civic and/or leadership activities highly desired.
