  • Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education in food science or similar experience
  • Aid in supporting customers with human and animal food product development
  • Proficient with computers, digital information, and quality management software
  • Deep understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and other food production related systems
  • Strong aptitude for technology and organizing digital information
Description & Responsibilities

The FSQA Manager will own and drive improvement in our food safety and quality systems while working with a small, tight FSQ team. They will supervise and work alongside FSQ Coordinators who will assist with execution. They will also assist with day-to-day food safety and quality activities in a facility that processes a variety of dry food & agricultural materials with a semi-automated food processing system. The environment may be loud, dusty, warm, cold, or smelly. This includes the following responsibilities:

  • Generally administering, refining, and executing on our overall food safety system
  • Driving and assisting internal audits and managing 3rd party audits
  • Drive strategy, program development, and process improvement
  • Aid in conducting and refining EMP monitoring ensuring a pathogen free environment
  • Help refine and verify food safety and quality goals are being met
  • Communicate shortcomings, challenges, needs, solutions of the quality dept
  • Analyzing, creating, refining, auditing various food safety documents including HACCP plans
  • Conduct internal food safety & quality audits & implementing CAPA responses
  • HAACP analysis & QC verifications
  • Creating and conducting studies such as sanitation validation studies
