GEICO is seeking a Senior Claims Strategy Analyst to support Claims leadership by transforming complex claims data into clear, actionable insights. This role will partner closely with operational leaders and Finance to connect frontline performance with financial outcomes, enabling data-driven decision making and strategic alignment across KPIs and OKRs.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with business acumen-able not only to extract and manipulate data, but to tell a compelling story that drives alignment, accountability, and measurable results.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Extract, analyze, and manipulate large claims datasets to identify trends, risks, and performance opportunities

  • Translate complex data into clear, concise insights that support Claims KPIs and OKRs

  • Develop compelling data narratives clear data narratives that link operational activities to performance trends and outcomes

  • Partner with Claims Operations leaders to understand business drivers and refine performance measurement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align operational reporting for presentation and distribution for Claims Process group and subsequent leadership

  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that enable ongoing visibility into key performance metrics

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and insight generation

  • Support strategic initiatives by providing analytical insights, performance tracking, and outcome measurement

  • Supports Director+ level leadership

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or claims operations

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and manipulation (e.g., PowerBI, Excel, data visualization tools)

  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • Experience working cross-functionally with operational and/or financial teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Claims operations or insurance analytics

  • Familiarity with KPI/OKR development and performance management frameworks

  • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ADO)

  • Exposure to Claims data analysis, including trend identification, root cause insights, and performance drivers

  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives or enterprise-level reporting

Annual Salary

$59,450.00 - $115,825.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
