Professionals in Frontline Benefits roles often encounter challenges such as keeping up with rapidly changing benefits regulations, communicating complex information to employees, and ensuring high levels of employee engagement. To address these, it's important to stay informed through continuous learning and regular training. Building strong relationships with team members and leveraging technology to streamline communication can also help ensure that employees fully understand their benefits and feel supported throughout the process.

What are Frontline Benefits?

Frontline Benefits typically refer to the employee benefits and support programs offered to frontline workers, such as those in healthcare, retail, hospitality, and other essential service roles. These benefits can include health insurance, paid time off, mental health support, retirement plans, and sometimes additional perks like tuition reimbursement or childcare assistance. The goal is to support the well-being and job satisfaction of employees who interact directly with customers or provide critical services. Employers may customize frontline benefits to address the unique challenges and needs of these essential workers.

To thrive as a Frontline Benefits Specialist, you need a solid understanding of employee benefits programs, insurance policies, and relevant regulations, often supported by a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field. Frontline Leader-Indianapolis, IN

Frontline Leader

Do you have a passion for leading others? Our team is growing and we would love to explore having you join our growing manufacturing company as a Team Leader. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, you will serve as a main resource to team members and regularly engage with each individual, including providing process knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. This opportunity will allow you to impact the engagement and development of each team member, as you work together to pioneer the future together!

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are looking for an immediate opportunity to join a dynamic team that offers both stability and great benefits, this is the role for you - apply today!

What You Will Do:

  • As a production team leader, you will be on-site offering leadership skills and knowledge to team members - for activities such as manufacturing, processing, operating, packing or unloading

  • Instruct your teams on the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures should they be necessary at any point during the production process

  • Hold responsibility for meeting quality assurance standards as set by industry programs, such as ISO and Six Sigma

  • Be accountable for maintaining regular communication with interrelated departments, such as distribution and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently

  • Encourage team effort, positive attitude and support between teammates

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Two (2) years' experience in the process area in which group leader position exists and working knowledge of area processes and job content

  • Prior experience leading teams

  • In addition, you ideally bring a high level of responsibility because the safety and productivity of your team reflects on your ability to lead, but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!

Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:

  • You are seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others. With thousands of employees and customers around the world, there's plenty of room to make an impact. As our values state, "this is your business, run with it".

  • You value personal well-being and balance, because we do too!

  • You're looking for a company that will invest in your professional development. As we grow, we want you to grow with us.

  • You want a culture that promotes work-life balance. Our employees enjoy generous paid time off, because at Allegion we recognize that you have a full life outside of work!

What You'll Get from Us:

  • A commitment to your health and well-being through our comprehensive and affordable medical, prescription and dental insurance plans - starting on your first day!

  • Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Paid Vacation - because your life isn't all about work!

  • An investment in your future through our 401K program with automatic company contributions and up to 6% company match with no vesting period

  • An opportunity to further your education and meet your professional goals through our Tuition Assistance Program

  • Short Term Disability Coverage in the event you may need it

  • Competitive starting pay - because you deserve to feel appreciated and rewarded for your contributions

  • Community involvement and opportunities to give back so you can "serve others, not yourself"
