Job description

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology who wants to work in a collaborative environment? As an experienced Sr. .Net Full Stack Developer - Software Engineer III - you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. If so, consider an opportunity with Deloitte under our Project Delivery Talent Model. Project Delivery Model (PDM) is a talent model that is tailored specifically for long-term, onsite client service delivery.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

As a Senior Full stack .NET Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical web applications and scalable APIs. In this role, you will seamlessly bridge the gap between robust backend architecture and responsive, user-centric frontend interfaces. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to deliver high-performance software solutions that drive operational efficiency and align with our strategic business objectives within the financial and insurance sectors.

  • Full-Lifecycle Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant web applications using C#, .NET (Core / .NET 8), and modern web frameworks tailored for high-volume financial transactions.
  • Frontend Engineering: Develop responsive, accessible, and dynamic user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript alongside leading component-based frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).
  • API & Architecture Design: Architect RESTful APIs and microservices, writing highly optimized, clean, and testable code that strictly adheres to SOLID principles and standard design patterns.
  • Database Integration: Architect efficient database schemas, write advanced T-SQL queries, and utilize Object-Relational Mappers (e.g., Entity Framework Core) within Microsoft SQL Server to ensure ACID compliance across distributed systems.
  • Performance Tuning: Proactively optimize system performance, debug complex backend configurations, and resolve latency bottlenecks to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • CI/CD & DevOps Collaboration: Support automated deployment pipelines by utilizing version control (Git) and building automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) with a focus on secure, compliant deployment practices.
  • Agile Collaboration & Quality Assurance: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning) and elevate team code quality through rigorous peer code reviews and architectural discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to uphold engineering standards and maintainable code.
  • Partner closely with product managers and interoperability (interop) leads to ensuring technical solutions aligning with healthcare needs and integration expectations.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

The successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to provide clear guidance to others
