Job description

Porch Light Health is a respected leader in the outpatient treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and other addictive disorders. We foster a supportive and family-oriented environment where patients are treated with compassion, respect, and honesty. Our team believes that addiction is a chronic, relapsing brain disease, and we are passionate about helping individuals navigate their recovery journey. We provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and behavioral health services, helping patients discover their purpose and build a healthy community. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Manager to join our growing team in a fast-paced, dynamic medical setting.


Key Responsibilities:

Clinical and Administrative Operations:

  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal patient care, and compliance with regulations.
  • Staff Management: Supervise office staff, coordinate daily tasks, and provide guidance and support to clinical and administrative teams.
  • Training and Development: Ensure all staff are trained on company policies, procedures, and best practices. Provide continuous support to improve performance.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Work closely with the medical team to ensure quality patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Healthcare Partner Liaison: Act as a liaison between the clinic and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service, resolve patient and family concerns, and manage disputes professionally and efficiently.
  • Escalated Issues: Handle any escalated issues related to clinic operations or patient care, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Compliance: Ensure clinic compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local regulations.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Motivating Staff: Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages staff engagement and motivation to meet both personal and organizational goals.
  • Performance Management: Review staff performance regularly and develop individual performance improvement plans where needed with help from Regional Manager.
  • Corrective Action: Implement corrective action plans for staff when necessary, in collaboration with senior management and HR.
  • Communication with Senior Management: Serve as the point of contact between the Senior Management Team and clinic staff, communicating issues and updates effectively.
  • Project Development & Implementation: Partner with Senior Management on the development, planning, and execution of clinic-related projects.

Operational Efficiency and Best Practices:

  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously analyze operational workflows and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure organization practices are followed.
  • Policy Implementation: Implement and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, ensuring that all staff members are informed and adhere to them.
  • Staff Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling of clinic staff to ensure proper coverage and prevent operational bottlenecks.
  • Resource Management: Ensure the clinic is well-equipped, stocked with necessary medical supplies, and maintains a clean and professional environment.


Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Associate's Degree or higher required.
    • One year of management experience in a medical or healthcare setting is required.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Understanding of medical office operations and the ability to oversee and support both healthcare providers and administrative staff.
    • Proven experience in staff management and delegation in a clinical setting.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of medical knowledge, both verbally and in writing.
    • Proficient in advanced computer skills, including Google Suites and EHR systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment, discretion, and decision-making in managing day-to-day operations and resolving conflicts.
    • Experience in developing and implementing corrective action plans and performance reviews for clinic staff.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Pay Range: $50,000-$60,000 (dependent on location, experience, education)
