Position: Front Office Coordinator

Location: Seymour, Indiana

Coverage needs: Full-time (36-40 hours/week)

Setting: Outpatient Private Practice


Fast Track Physical Therapy is a private, physical therapistowned outpatient practice that has provided therapy services since 2009. We have grown to multiple clinics throughout the Indianapolis area, with locations in Avon, Speedway, Mooresville, Danville, and Seymour. At Fast Track, we strive to work alongside the best therapists in the outpatient orthopedic field and become the best therapists ourselves.
 

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Office Coordinator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their visit. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient interactions. The Front Office Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient schedules, assisting with administrative tasks, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
 

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time for both patients and providers.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Provide medical administrative support by handling insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and any necessary instructions.
  • Assist in the management of office operations to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice.
  • Collaborate with staff to coordinate patient care and address any concerns that may arise during visits.
  • Stay informed about medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the office setting.
  • Assist in patient collections

Experience

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable to enhance communication with healthcare professionals.
