We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and multi-talented Medical Assistant / Receptionist to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

Front Office & Reception:

  • Warmly greet patients, manage check-in/check-out processes, and verify demographic and insurance details.

  • Confidently manage high-volume phone lines, answer patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow.

  • Collect co-pays, process referrals, and obtain prior authorizations for cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic tests.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Clinical / Back Office Support:

  • Prepare exam rooms and perform clinical intake (vitals, medical history, chief complaint).

  • Administer diagnostic tests including ECGs/EKGs, blood pressure checks, and routine lab preps as directed by providers.

  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor clinical procedures.

  • Ensure proper sterilization of equipment, maintain stock levels in exam rooms, and adhere to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA / RMA) required.

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in a medical office setting (experience in Cardiology or Internal Medicine is a major plus).

  • Exceptional phone etiquette and the ability to multitask smoothly in a busy setting.

  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and insurance verification portals.
