As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Santa Rosa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and badge processes. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing guests to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
