The role of a Front Desk Receptionist at a dermatology practice is critical to providing a positive and efficient experience for patients and maintaining the smooth operation of the practice. Front desk receptionists serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, and they play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.

Qualifications and Skills:​

  • Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
  • Perform general administrative office tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Previous experience working in an office environment is preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Google Workspace Preferred)
  • Familiarity with computerized scheduling systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
