Role: Broadband Triage Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Full Time 

Job Description:
We are seeking a Broadband Triage Engineer to ensure high-quality and timely software releases across broadband devices. You will handle the complete triage lifecycle including deployment, troubleshooting, mitigation, and tool development. The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and release teams to maintain RDK software quality and resolve field issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure release quality across devices.
  • Troubleshoot broadband/RDK issues (WiFi, Mesh, DOCSIS, Fiber, LTE).
  • Perform root cause analysis using Linux, networking protocols, and packet captures.
  • Develop tools and automate processes to improve release operations.
  • Leverage AWS (S3, Athena, QuickSight) for data analysis and system insights.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong in C/C++, Python, Linux, and scripting (Bash/Python/Go).
  • Experience with ELK, Splunk, Grafana, Git/GitHub, Jira, SQL/Athena.
  • Knowledge of broadband access technologies (WiFi, DOCSIS, Fiber, LTE).
  • Strong problem-solving and triage skills; prior technical lead/mentorship experience is a plus.
