Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) โ€“ New Mexico School Districts

Remote | 1099 Independent Contractor
Partner with VocoVision to Support Students Across New Mexico

VocoVision is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to Kโ€“12 students throughout New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about helping students reach their communication goals while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote position.

As a virtual SLP, you'll use VocoVision's secure teletherapy platform to deliver individualized services, collaborate with school teams, and support students with a variety of speech and language needsโ€”all from the comfort of your home.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy through a virtual platform.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reassessments to determine student eligibility and service needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, therapy logs, and evaluation reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress.
  • Adapt therapy techniques and materials to meet each student's unique communication needs.
  • Manage an organized caseload while maintaining professional communication with school personnel and caregivers.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Valid New Mexico educator certification (if required by the district).
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required, depending on district placement.
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using technology and virtual therapy platforms.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
