Job description

Step into a dynamic role providing essential speech and language services to elementary students in grades K-5. This contract opportunity promises a fulfilling experience working with students, educators, and families to support language development and academic growth.
Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working with K-5 student populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of language, articulation, and fluency disorders in children
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals and needs
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions within the school environment
  • Consult regularly with teachers and families to ensure progress and promote carryover of strategies
  • Document student progress and maintain required records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute insights and expertise to the support team
