The Field Registered Nurse (Field RN) is a part-time / flexible / contractor role administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction of the Director of Patient Care Services.

What you'll be doing:
  • Make the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the patient's nursing needs.
  • Initiate the plan of care and necessary revisions.
  • Provide those services requiring substantial specialized nursing skills.
  • Initiate appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
  • Prepare clinical and progress notes for each patient visit and summaries of care conferences on their patients in a timely manner.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in Texas.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in a home health setting.
  • Must have current CPR Certification.
