Experience is preferred, but we will train the right individual.  Experience and qualifications will determine starting base pay.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Added Services Technician to join our team. This role supports our home inspection process by performing additional specialized services such as radon testing, mold sampling, water testing, sewer scope inspections, septic inspections and more. No prior experience is required—we provide full training for the right candidate!

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct radon testing, mold sampling, water testing, and other ancillary services as part of the home inspection process.
  • Perform sewer scope inspections/septic inspections and other added services (training provided).
  • Accurately document findings and report results to clients and inspectors.
  • Maintain and properly calibrate equipment used for testing and inspections.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, real estate agents, and inspectors.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures for all added services.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in home inspections, construction, plumbing, HVAC, or related fields is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise testing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable using technology (tablets, apps, report software).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel within Central/Southern Maine area
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions
  • Have the aptitude and mental ability to problem solve and conduct professional conversations with Real Estate Agents and Customers
  • A great attitude and ability to work well with others
