Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of HCA/HealthONE of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the direction of the Radiology supervisor, performs clerical tasks associated with the operation of the CT, MR, and Angio departments. This includes customer service, greeting patients, making requisitions from prescription orders, preparation of the patient’s film record, accurate entry of patient information into the computer Meditech system, assisting Physicians on finding patient’s films and results, heavy phone volume, faxing of information and maintaining film file records. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

Transports patients of all age ranges, supplies, and equipment throughout the entire hospital. Assists technologists with patient lifting and care. Performs a variety of clerical activities. Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment. Communicates with hospital personnel, patients, and office staff in a professional and courteous manner to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of HCA HealthONE.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
  • No Experience required, prior medical background preferred.
  • Prior patient care experience desirable.
