Job description

Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Wise Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Paradise, Texas.

We are a small, family-owned and operated company serving Wise County and the surrounding North Texas area. Since 2021, we have built our reputation by providing dependable service, quality workmanship, and honest recommendations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, treats customers with respect, and wants to be part of a close-knit local company.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration issues
  • Clearly explain findings and repair options to customers
  • Obtain customer approval before completing additional work
  • Accurately document equipment readings, model and serial numbers, work performed, and materials used
  • Follow applicable safety requirements, codes, and manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area
  • Participate in on-call or after-hours service when scheduled
  • Represent the company professionally in customers’ homes and businesses

Qualifications

  • Previous HVAC service, diagnostic, and repair experience required
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of residential heating and cooling equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and a dependable driving record
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Honest, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Professional appearance and good communication skills
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service
  • Ability to work safely in attics, crawlspaces, outdoor conditions, and the North Texas heat
  • EPA certification preferred

Experience with commercial HVAC or refrigeration equipment is a plus.
