Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 (base pay) + Commission

Our client is looking to fill a position for Fluid Power Outside Sales - Detroit/Sterling Heights, MI. Join a top value-added industrial fluid power company, delivering a wide range of products and solutions across Fluid Power; as well as, offering Industrial Service and Repair. Competitive compensation and benefits plan offered.

**RESPONSIBILITIES

**

  • Collaborate with company management to implement a strategic sales strategy that strengthens the prospect pipeline, maintains current client relationships, and generates new revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from prospect qualification and cold calling to delivering persuasive presentations and closing business.
  • Apply your expertise in mobile and/ or industrial hydraulics and product applications to provide customized solutions that align with customers’ equipment requirements and operational goals.
  • Partner with customer service and technical support teams to achieve and surpass established sales objectives.
  • Use tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and CRM platforms to efficiently organize schedules, manage territories, and nurture client relationships.

**QUALIFICATIONS:

**

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering or fluid power preferred), or comparable hands-on experience
  • Fluid Power certification is advantageous, but not required
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in industrial or technical outside sales
  • Experience with mobile and/ or industrial hydraulic equipment
  • Background in value-added industrial sales is desirable, but not required
  • Experience with hydraulic system applications and troubleshooting is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel overnight when required
