Job Summary:

Exciting position supporting the field support and deployment of Caterpillar Service Technology. Caterpillar is transforming the way we service machines in the field and are enabling Dealers to better serve customers through cutting edge Remote and Local service tools. This role will be key in validating, documenting and deploying new service technology.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify, track and correct field issues with new products.

  • Ensure production processes are in place to deploy, track and support new products.

  • Gather Voice of Customer and Dealer and ensure that products are delivering value.

  • Develop documentation in partnership with Engineering and Authoring teams, to ensure that the system usability and maintainability are world class.

What You Will Have:

  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Consideration for Top Candidates: (Preferred)

  • Experience with Caterpillar or other OEM Service Technology Solutions.

  • Strong technical expertise in Electronics and software.

  • Exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) processes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to convey technical information to technicians.

  • Strong Customer focus and the ability to effectively translate issues into problem statements.

  • This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL office.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
