Power the future while building your career. We're looking for a motivated, people-first Home Energy Sales Consultant who thrives in the field, builds trust quickly, and knows how to turn conversations into long-term customer relationships.


In this role, you'll help homeowners discover how renewable energy can reduce energy costs and increase home value. You'll guide customers through the entire solar journey, from the initial consultation to a signed agreement, by understanding their energy needs, presenting customized solutions, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You'll work company-generated leads and customer referrals, manage your sales pipeline, and consistently achieve ambitious sales goals.


This is a full-time, field-based position with local travel, ideal for someone who is competitive, organized, and passionate about helping homeowners make smart energy decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and close residential solar sales. 
  • Meet with homeowners to evaluate their energy needs and recommend customized solar solutions. 
  • Analyze energy usage and explain the financial and environmental benefits of going solar. 
  • Prepare customized proposals and pricing. 
  • Manage your sales pipeline using a CRM. 
  • Follow up consistently to move opportunities through the sales process. 
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals. 
  • Generate referrals and foster long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred. 
  • Experience in solar, home improvement, roofing, HVAC, construction, windows, or other in-home consultative sales is highly preferred. 
  • Experience using a CRM to manage leads and opportunities. 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
