Job Title: Wire Harness Designer
Location: Raymond, OH (Onsite)
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Wire Harness Designer with strong experience in CATIA V5/V6 or 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) to support
the development and maintenance of electrical component libraries and wire harness design standards. The ideal
candidate will have experience managing standard components, creating 3D models, and collaborating with
engineering teams to improve design processes and library accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, define, and maintain standard electrical components within the 3DEXPERIENCE component library.
• Research wire harness components and coordinate with suppliers to gather technical information.
• Develop and maintain clip and connector rear views within the symbol library.
• Support the creation and enhancement of 3DX modeling standards and library integration processes.
• Manage incoming component requests and track progress through completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve design efficiency and component
standardization.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of component data and documentation.
 
Required Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience with 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), CATIA V6, or CATIA V5.
• Experience creating and maintaining component libraries and 3D models.
• Ability to work independently and within collaborative engineering teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with wire harness or electrical component libraries.
• Knowledge of Siemens Capital (Mentor Graphics).
• Familiarity with C++ and EKL for design automation within 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Experience developing engineering standards and automation workflows
