Job description

Description:

This position builds electrical components to include wire harnesses, control boxes and control panels according to specifications. Must have the ability to read and comprehend work orders, process sheets and blue prints; produces high quality projects on-time and on-budget to our customers. May be required to serve as backup for other positions as directed.


  • Reviews assembly drawings, diagrams, process sheets, schematics and test requirements and discusses any issues with project engineer
  • Verify bill of material and parts pulled for accuracy and quality
  • Verify dimension for accuracy and quality
  • Documentation of test performance results
  • Process wire
  • Terminate wire ends/splice circuits
  • Assemble harnesses, controls boxes and control panels
  • Test functionality and continuity of electrical assemblies
  • Apply harness covering by machine
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Versatile with various tools
  • Watches gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Troubleshooting โ€“ Assists in assessing and determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
  • Enforces use of safety equipment
  • Is knowledgeable about safety in work area




Education and Experience
