The 61st Street Service Corporation, provides administrative and clinical support staff for ColumbiaDoctors. This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties.

Job Summary:

The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for the front desk administrative duties of a high-volume Dental Faculty Practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments, Set up new charts for patients in Epic
  • Perform pre-registration (i.e. insurance eligibility verification); Collect patient copayments
  • Answer phones, Confirm appointments via phone & email
  • Import X-rays from previous Dentist in MiPacs; Scan Dental Notes to Epic from previous Dentist
  • Send Medical Release Form to patients; process payments
  • Answer/Resolve Billing Inquiries
  • Send patient messages go Providers via Epic Messaging
  • Sort Mail and Invoices
  • Prepare patient ADA Forms
  • Scan Paper Charts to Epic
  • Other Duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and dental practices
  • Available to work Saturdays and evening hours
  • Understand basic dental coding

Hourly Rate Ranges: $21.37 - $30.82
