MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

The Dental Biller must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in dental billing, preferably within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting. Proficiency in Dentrix dental software is required. Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial dental insurance plans is essential. The qualified individual should meet minimum competencies and skill sets established by EXCELth, Inc., and monitored by the Dental Director and Revenue Cycle Manager.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Dental Biller is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing of dental services provided at EXCELth clinics. This role requires strong knowledge of dental coding, insurance verification, claims submission, and payment posting. The Dental Biller will work closely with dental providers, front desk staff, and the revenue cycle team to optimize reimbursement and maintain compliance with billing regulations. Attention to detail, confidentiality, and a commitment to patient-centered service are essential.

  • Travel to other EXCELth clinic locations as needed.
