Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our organization's digital infrastructure from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent. This role involves monitoring systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures. Candidates must successfully pass a background check prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze systems and networks for security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate threats.
  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into system designs.
  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
  • Provide training and awareness programs on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Prepare and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a similar role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of network security, encryption technologies, and cybersecurity tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
