About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-K Teacher to join our educational team. As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children aged 3-5 years. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through age-appropriate activities and lessons using the curriculum. You will foster a love of learning, encourage curiosity, and promote individual growth in each child. This position requires creativity, patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and colleagues.


What You'll Do
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, activities, and educational materials that align with curriculum guidelines and objectives
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning, exploration, and social interaction
  • Provide a variety of engaging learning experiences to enhance children's language, literacy, math, science, and social skills
  • Observe and assess individual children's progress and development, and maintain accurate records to track their growth
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians, providing updates on their child's progress, behavior, and areas of focus
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and comprehensive educational program
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, following established protocols and procedures
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required.

Requirements
  • State certification or licensure for early childhood education (if applicable)
  • Previous experience working with young children in a teaching or childcare setting
