A Frog Street job typically involves working with early childhood education curricula designed to support the development of young children. Employees may work in curriculum development, training, sales, or customer support, helping educators implement research-based learning programs. Roles at Frog Street often require experience in early childhood education, instructional design, or related fields. The company focuses on providing high-quality educational resources for infants, toddlers, and pre-kindergarten students.
Educators using the Frog Street curriculum typically plan and implement age-appropriate lessons, facilitate engaging group activities, and track each child's development according to established learning standards. Daily responsibilities often include organizing classroom materials, integrating music and movement, and collaborating with teaching assistants or specialists. Teachers may also communicate regularly with parents and participate in ongoing training to remain current with curriculum updates. Success in this role involves working both independently and as part of a supportive early childhood education team.
To excel at Frog Street (typically an early childhood education curriculum or company-specific role), professionals need a solid understanding of early childhood development, curriculum planning, and classroom management, often supported by a degree in education or a related field. Experience with educational technology tools, curriculum resources, and any relevant teaching certifications (such as CDA or state licensure) is highly valuable. Strong communication, creativity, patience, and the ability to engage young learners are essential soft skills that distinguish top candidates. These skills are crucial for fostering a positive, effective learning environment and implementing age-appropriate educational programs successfully.
