Job description

Please note that we are located in Goddard, Ks.  Looking for hours between  7-5:30. We are seeking Teachers to join our EXPANDING early childhood program in Goddard, KS. Our center is located within the Genesis Health Club facility, offering access to an indoor water park, hotel, soccer fields, and baseball fields. Compensation will vary, with higher rates available based on experience and qualifications. This position is a great opportunity to be part of a growing early childhood program!
The our Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for the children in our care. This role includes providing consistent care routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap schedules while ensuring constant supervision and adherence to safe-sleep practices.Teachers plans and implements age-appropriate activities that support early development, including sensory play, motor skills, and early social-emotional growth. They build strong, responsive relationships with our children and families, maintain a clean and organized classroom, and follow all center policies and state licensing regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (CDA preferred)
  • Experience working with children
  • Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively with children, families, and staff

Previous experience with children is a must. Past experience in a licensed, early childhood position is a preference.
