The beautiful Shangri-La Resort, located at the tip of Monkey Island in the center of northeast Oklahoma's Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, is currently taking applications for seasonal team members. POSITION

Lobby Public Attendant

JOB DESCRIPTION Under direct supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, responsible for cleanliness of assigned work areas including hotel rooms, common areas and Banquet Space in an efficient and accurate manner.

REPORTS TO Executive Housekeeper

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for entering and preparing guest rooms for cleaning by logging in status.
  • Vacuum and mop guest room and public floors.
  • Collect and replace soiled linens, including making beds.
  • Clean and replenish bathrooms.
  • Clean, re-stock, and store housekeeping cart.
  • Handle guest requests expediently.
  • Complete and turn in assignment sheets and keys.
  • Ensure security of all guest rooms and hotel property, reports damages, and problems to supervisor.
  • Provide a friendly and courteous guest/employee contact experience.
  • Respond to guest questions with knowledgeable answers or acquire needed information.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of resort services and hours of operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Related experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional status through interface with customers.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional working relationship with management and co-workers.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules.
