About the Role:
Ale Emporium Greenwood is looking for a friendly and energetic Weekend Host to be the first face guests see when they walk through our doors! If you love creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner
  • Manage waitlists and reservations to ensure smooth seating flow during morning and lunch service
  • Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests informed
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to monitor table availability and turnover
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with to-go order inquiries
  • Provide menus and assist guests with any initial questions or needs

Requirements:
  • Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house restaurant experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
