Are you looking for a fun weekend gig in beautiful Hill Country?  You found it! This position is perfect for someone who truly enjoys interacting with customers, and wants to learn & share our story, while serving up award-winning beers & spirits. Bartending experience preferred, but not required.  Primary work days are Friday and Saturdays, with occasional weekdays and/or Sundays.


Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding, upbeat customer service while serving and selling beer & spirits
  • Share accurate, relevant information about our history and all of our offerings
  • Assist with restocking kegs, cases, and merchandise
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment at all times
  • Follow opening and closing procedures according to SOP
  • Handle routine sales, cash and credit card processing, and reconcile daily sales
  • Stay up to date on new beers, beer culture and rotating cocktails
  • Proactively offer ideas to improve processes and overall customer experience
  • Other duties as necessary, including availability for all on-site special events

Other Skills & Abilities

  • Must be available to work Fridays & Saturdays and occasional weekdays and/or Sundays 
  • Daily lifting of 50+lbs, and repeated bending and stooping, working in wet environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule
  • Report to work on time
  • Must wear company-supplied PPE as required
  • Observe safety procedures and use equipment (including PPE), chemicals, and materials properly
  • Adhere to standards for food safety and personnel GMPs
  • Adhere to company policies
  • Must be 21+ and maintain current TABC Server Certification
  • Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness
  • Provide support during special events

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs., or up to 150lb with assistance
  • Repeated lifting of 35-75 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long period of time and work in wet conditions
