We are hiring for an opening on 2nd shift. Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
Summary
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for providing instructions to the Warehouse Team to receive, store, load and ensure beer and other materials are handled safely.
Responsibilities
  • Performs inventories on packaging material and packaged beer as required.
  • Handles, stores, and prepares to ship all beer products without damage to the offsite warehouse as well as unloading incoming ingredients and packaging materials.
  • Verifies incoming brewery ingredients and outgoing beer for accuracy and specified beers and/or other warehouse supplies and material. Matches loads to purchase orders or bills of lading and fills out master receiving and shipping logs.
  • Checks and verifies all incoming Microstar orders and submits the reports to Microstar on the daily and month cycles as required.
  • Helps reconcile all inventory load discrepancies with packaging, brewing and the offsite warehouse.
  • Facilitates communication between offsite warehouse and the brewery for both incoming and outgoing product.
  • Maintains all warehouse equipment in good working order including maintenance and warranty work on all forklifts.
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice

  • Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to the Warehouse Supervisor and Production Coordinator.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Must be forklift certified.
  • Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
