Job description

Direct and coordinate the Freshman class officers at Yorkville High School.

  • Create and maintain detailed records of activities, fundraising, planning, budget expenditures, and other
    activities
  • Schedule and host all necessary meetings for participants
  • Establish the student leadership for the Freshman class
  • Work with Student Council sponsors and sponsor spirit weeks and homecoming activities
  • Counsel and supervise the participants in all activities, duties and responsibilities
  • Work in a positive and productive manner with a wide variety of Yorkville High School students and staff
  • Establish a friendly and cooperative partnership between home and school
  • Develop a positive public relationship between the school district and the community
  • Supervise the collection and expenditures of class funds
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:ย 
SKILLS: Organizational skills and initiative for working with minimal direct supervision. Must show evidence of strong leadership and organizational skills.ย 
KNOWLEDGE: Previous successful experience in sponsorship/mentoring preferred. Substantial knowledge in the area of student support, as well as familiarity with student discipline and safety protocols.ย 
ABILITY: Establish and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with all stakeholders to be flexible and change as needed.ย 
Salary Range: Head Level 1: $1,209- $2,893 based on experience
