Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for the delivery of resident care in accordance with professional nursing standards and all state and federal regulations. This role ensures the implementation of nursing policies and procedures that align with the facility’s mission and philosophy while promoting the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
The Nurse Manager also leads key functions, including staff education, infection control, quality assurance, and admission screening. This position requires effective resource management to ensure care is delivered efficiently, responsibly, and with a focus on continuous improvement.
Position Summary
The Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients/residents while promoting health, preventing illness, and supporting recovery. This role works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure individualized care plans are followed and patient outcomes are optimized.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the appropriate medical staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and care plans
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment
Qualifications
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred, depending on setting)
Previous nursing experience preferred (setting-specific)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
