Job description

Liberty Solutions Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced Freight Broker to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight brokerage, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with shippers and carriers while maximizing profitability.


Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the logistics industry
- Maintain current clients, generate leads and attract new prospects and develop a sales pipeline.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through effective sales techniques
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing for customers
- Coordinate and manage transportation services, including scheduling, tracking, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize freight movement and improve efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any customer concerns
- Perform data entry tasks to accurately record shipment details and maintain documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics sales or a related field
- Strong sales skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
