Job Description Summary:

We're looking for a driven, self-motivated Inside Sales Agent to join our growing sales team. In this role, you'll be on the front lines of new business development - spending the majority of your time on outbound prospecting calls to build a pipeline of shippers looking for a smarter, more reliable long-haul freight partner. You'll also manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring customers stay engaged and satisfied as their needs evolve.

This is a high-activity, results-oriented role that rewards hustle, persistence, and the ability to build relationships over the phone.

Critical Job Functions:

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to identify new shipping opportunities, qualify prospects, and convert leads into active customers.
  • Maintain and grow a book of existing accounts through regular check-ins, identifying upsell opportunities and ensuring strong service continuity.
  • Work closely with operations and account management teams to resolve issues quickly and keep customers moving.
  • Maintain clean, accurate CRM records - logging calls, tracking pipeline, and following up systematically to move deals forward.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of inside sales or customer-facing experience, ideally in freight, logistics, or transportation
  • Freight brokerage or carrier sales experience is a strong plus
  • Comfortable making 30+ outbound calls per day with persistence and a positive attitude
  • Strong verbal communication skills - you'll be selling over the phone, so your voice is your most important tool
  • Experience with a CRM preferred
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a large number of accounts and prospects simultaneously

What Success Looks Like:

  • First 90 days: Service offerings mastered, active prospect list built, and new business generation underway.
  • Six months in: Hitting monthly activity and performance targets consistently and managing a growing book of accounts with minimal supervision.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a competitive wage commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and opportunities for growth within the sales organization.
