LaborMAX Staffing is hiring Material Handlers for a seasonal warehouse opportunity in Junction City, KS.

If you're looking for steady warehouse work with weekly pay and a 4-day workweek, this could be a great opportunity. You'll work Monday through Thursday and have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday
  • Hours: 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • Days Off: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  • Weekly Pay
  • Seasonal position


What You'll Do

As a Material Handler, you'll help keep warehouse operations moving by receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and preparing merchandise for shipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
  • Sort merchandise according to purchase orders (POs) and SKUs
  • Use an RF scanner/RF gun to locate and select merchandise
  • Scan boxes and open cases for processing
  • Place merchandise on the appropriate conveyor for sorting
  • Pick and pack single and multiple customer orders
  • Apply the correct shipping labels to packages
  • Prepare packages for shipment
  • Place apparel and footwear onto tilt trays for sorting
  • Pack sorted merchandise for shipment to stores
  • Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Follow all warehouse and workplace safety procedures


Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position. Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand for the duration of the shift
  • Regularly bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and pull
  • Use stairs throughout the workday
  • Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and move items weighing 25–40 lbs.
  • Lift items over 40 lbs. infrequently, with or without assistance
  • Work in a fast-paced and warmer warehouse environment


Requirements

  • Ability to work the full Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to follow warehouse safety procedures
  • Must successfully complete a background check
