Now Hiring: Carrier Administration & Claims Representative | Columbus, Ohio

I'm currently recruiting for a great opportunity with a growing logistics organization in the Columbus area.

This is a full-time, 100% on-site position for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and meeting important deadlines.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting freight claims, carrier administration, compliance, and onboarding. You'll work closely with carriers, customers, and internal operations teams to investigate shipment issues, gather and maintain documentation, track claims, and help ensure carriers meet required compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing freight claims involving loss, damage, delays, and other shipment issues
  • Gathering and reviewing documentation such as photos, bills of lading, PODs, delivery receipts, and statements
  • Tracking claim status, deadlines, credits, and reimbursements
  • Communicating professionally with carriers and customers regarding claims
  • Supporting carrier onboarding and maintaining accurate carrier profiles
  • Verifying insurance coverage, authority, safety ratings, and required documentation
  • Monitoring compliance requirements and expiration dates
  • Tracking carrier service failures and compliance issues
  • Working closely with operations to facilitate timely carrier onboarding
  • Supporting risk mitigation and resolution of carrier-related issues
  • Assisting with reputation management and industry review platforms

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or GED; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is required
  • Experience in claims, insurance, customer service, logistics, or a related field preferred
