Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Freight Broker Sales Manager with an existing book of business to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in freight brokerage, exceptional sales skills, and a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers. You'll play a key role in growing our customer base and ensuring seamless transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow your existing customer base while prospecting new business opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate rates with clients and carriers to maximize profitability while delivering value to all parties.
  • Manage the end-to-end freight process, including quoting, booking, tracking, and troubleshooting shipments.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently.
  • Play a key leadership role in building and mentoring a future sales team as the business scales.
