Motion Graphics Artist / Video Editor Job Number: 26-00552 Find your next opportunity in the Financial Services Industry. ECLARO is looking for a Motion Graphics Artist / Video Editor for our client in New York, NY. ECLARO's client is one of the largest mutual life insurance companies and provides long-term care insurance, mutual funds and retirement-plan services across the US.

Position Overview: A Freelance Motion Graphics Artist / Video Editor to translate complex insurance, investment, and financial content into compelling visual tools and experiences. Have 2 years of experience and be comfortable owning the full creative lifecycle from concept development through final execution.

This role requires close collaboration with internal clients and creative partners, including pitching ideas, presenting concepts, and iterating based on feedback. Projects may include storyboarding, animation, video editing, light production, and animated data visualization, all executed to meet business objectives while adhering to brand standards. Responsibilities: Creative Concepting: Develop and present original creative ideas and concepts for feedback.

Demonstrate strong conceptual thinking, translating briefed information into multiple creative directions across deliverables such as social media, email, and paid advertising. Campaign Development: Partner with creative team members, project managers, and internal stakeholders to understand project objectives and business goals. Translate complex insurance and financial information into engaging visual content for use across multiple communication channels.

Creative Production: Produce, refine, update, and version existing creative based on feedback, performance insights, or shifting business needs. Take direction while also providing strategic guidance to Marketing partners, informed by brand guidelines, industry best practices, emerging trends, and channel requirements. Leverage AI tools and new technologies to improve efficiency and creative output where appropriate.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with writers, designers, and compliance partners to ensure creative aligns with Marketing objectives and broader organizational goals. Work with channel owners and content partners to ensure messaging and visuals are compliant, consistent, and user-focused. Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Remain open to ongoing feedback from senior creative leaders, channel owners, and business partners.

Assess creative performance in market and apply learnings to optimize future work. Required Qualifications: Experience working with a financial services client or company (experience at an ad agency on a finance client is acceptable). Portfolio link included on resume (with passcode if required).

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, including After Effects and Premiere Pro. Experience leveraging AI tools for video and creative production to streamline workflows and condense tasks. 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.

An online portfolio demonstrating a range of video editing and motion graphics work. Experience supporting clients in financial services or other highly regulated industries. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, including After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Hands-on experience with AI tools for video and creative production. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity working with project management tools and teams (e.g., Workfront).

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong relationship-building skills with internal partners, external vendors, and cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. Demonstrated commitment to skill development and staying current with industry trends.
