DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position focuses on routine clerical work to support office operations. It involves following set procedures, keeping files organized, helping office visitors, and typing, proofreading, and processing a variety of documents.

As a Clerk Typist 1 with our File Room, you will perform the following duties: Document Preparation: Type letters, reports, schedules, charts, forms, labels, envelopes, and other materials in specific formats from handwritten drafts or dictated sources Data Entry: Update computer records for personnel, fiscal, accounting, or similar information Reception Support: Greet visitors, direct individuals to proper office locations, screen and rout phone calls, and provide basic information File Organization: File, retrieve, and systematically sort and store documents alphabetically, numerically, chronologically, or using similar methods Mail Procedures: Open, sort, and track incoming mail; label and prepare outgoing mail Form Processing: Receive applications, documents, forms, and fees, then screen, sort, and assemble for further actions by our team Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
