Job description

Founded in 1963, Everglades Equipment Group is a family owned and operated full-service John Deere dealership with 19 locations covering central and south Florida. Everglades Equipment Group serves a wide range of customers from some of the largest agricultural producers of sugar, citrus and vegetables to individual farmers, golf courses, nurseries, commercial landscape management companies, and construction businesses, as well as large and small property owners.
We have become one of the largest John Deere dealers in the world by prioritizing customer service and satisfaction above all else.

Performs maintenance duties for the entire facility. All other related duties as needed by the Dealership as instructed by managers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the facility and vehicles
  • Maintain tool room and run the wash bay
  • Perform grounds maintenance for the dealer properties
  • May be required to assist in moving displays or equipment within the dealership
  • May operate a forklift to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the dealership
  • May be asked to deliver equipment to customers as needed
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Detail Equipment

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to perform multiple duties as assigned
  • Basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures
