Location: UCHealth Yampa Valley Med Center, Steamboat Springs, CO.
Department: YVMC PACU Same Day Surgery- Pre Admission Testing
Work Schedule: Full Time, 64 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days, This role is a four-day-per-week, on-site position within the Pre-Admission Testing department.
Pay: $40.86 - $63.33 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:The selected candidate will conduct telephone screening of patients in preparation for surgery and collaborate closely with surgeon offices to ensure a coordinated, seamless, and positive experience for our patients.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
  • PALS Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
