Job description

Position Purpose:
The Analyst, Gift Card Sales supports the execution, growth, and operational excellence of The Home Depot gift card portfolio across THD's in-store and digital channels, third-party distribution, strategic partnerships, and B2B/enterprise sales channels. This role helps manage day-to-day program activities, sales reporting, partner coordination, customer and issue resolution, and process improvement efforts that enable profitable growth and a consistent customer experience. The Analyst partners closely with the Manager, Gift Card Sales, internal cross-functional teams, external vendors, and sales partners to turn data, process discipline, and customer insights into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 60% - Execution - Manage day-to-day operations: card production, card numbering and distribution, planogram maintenance, sales reporting, rebate management, PO tracking and payment, and special projects. Includes data gathering and root cause analysis.
  • 30% - Resolution Management - Manages the resolution process for issues that may require escalation and partners with Gift Card vendors and internal THD team to resolve. Have authority to resolve high profile/executive cases (cases that make it to the executive level).
  • 10% - Support - Analyze data and review process and make recommendations to Sr. Management. Review and modify/approve project plans and make decisions as needed. Recommends process changes to expedite goal attainment. Works closely with cross-functional teams to negotiate resolution.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

  • Experience supporting vendors, partners, and customers through issue resolution and account management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage escalations and communicate recommendations effectively.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT, and external vendors.
  • Proven success identifying process improvements and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Experience coordinating operational processes, documentation, and reporting controls.
