Job Description
Dignotion is seeking a versatile and creative Social Media Editor to manage and grow social media accounts across a portfolio of client projects. From Gaming and Entertainment to Health & Wellness, Travel, Sports and Finance, you'll help bring brand voices to life across platforms, owning content creation, trend engagement and community management.
This is a hands-on, part-time role ideal for someone who thrives on variety, understands platform-specific content strategies, and can balance creativity with performance goals.
If you've built traction on a specific platform or grown accounts in a niche (e.g., viral video content on Instagram, sports commentary on X, lifestyle curation on Pinterest, or B2B engagement on LinkedIn), we'd love to hear about it.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day content and community activity across multiple social media accounts
  • Create platform-native content (graphics, captions, short-form videos) tailored to each audience and industry
  • Monitor trends and social conversations to ensure brands stay relevant and engaging
  • Develop content calendars, schedule posts, and manage approval workflows
  • Engage with communities via comments, DMs, and real-time responses
  • Collaborate with internal teams (designers, account managers, media buyers) to align content with broader marketing campaigns
  • Track content performance, extract insights, and suggest optimizations to improve reach and engagement
  • Maintain consistency of voice, tone, and visual identity across each brand

Requirements
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to switch tone and style based on brand identity
  • Design and basic video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, etc.)
  • Deep familiarity with trends, best practices, and content formats on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple projects and brand voices
  • Experience using scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Sprout, Meta Business Suite)
  • Fluent English; clear communicator and responsive team player
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Experience with social media in regulated or fast-moving industries
  • Platform-specific growth expertise (e.g., viral formats, community-building, content niches)
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing or content partnerships
  • Additional spoken or written language capabilities
  • Previous work in a digital agency or freelance social media environment

Benefits
What We Offer
  • Fully remote or hybrid work option (NYC-based optional)
  • Flexible hours tailored to your availability and project needs
  • Diverse and dynamic project portfolio across industries
  • Collaborative environment with access to creative, strategic, and performance team
