Job description

Who we are:
We are a team of Proactive, Respectful, Communicative, Candid, Diverse, Equitable and Curious leaders seeking new team members who share our values. We are world-class experience designers, technologists, strategic thinkers and creators assembled to develop global design projects for adventurous, industry-changing Fortune 500 companies and leading organizations.ย
ย

Who you are:
You are a spatial thinker with an artistโ€™s sensibility. You understand that architecture is not just about buildingsโ€”itโ€™s about the way people feel, move, and find meaning in the spaces around them. You work fluidly across scales: from a human-scale sculpture and installation to a building faรงade or master plan. You are conceptually driven, aesthetically sharp, and more interested in the emotional texture of space than the technical mechanics of construction. You have a portfolio that reflects genuine creative range, a strong point of view, and a hunger to push what the built environment can be.

Role Overviewย

As a HUSH Architectural Designer, you bring a design sensibility rooted in art, culture, and human experience. You are the creative force that shapes how our spaces look, feel, and resonateโ€”translating brand narratives and human stories into spatial and experiential language. You work across project types and scales, contributing to concept development, mood and aesthetic direction, and the visual logic that guides how a project comes to life. You collaborate closely with designers, technologists, and strategists to ensure every environment we create leaves a lasting impression.

Focus: 80% making and execution; 20% learning and concepting

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to spatial concept developmentโ€”from big ideas to the refined aesthetic details that define a projectโ€™s character.

  • Develop mood boards, visual narratives, and inspiration frameworks that guide the creative direction of spaces.

  • Shape the experiential arc of a spaceโ€”how people enter, move through, pause, and feel in an environment. Journeys, mapping, narratives.

  • Collaborate with designers, technologists and fabricators to translate conceptual vision into realized work.

  • Contribute to pitch development with strong visual storytelling and spatial thinking.

  • Articulate design ideas clearly and compellingly in both visual and verbal form.

  • Seek and embrace feedback. Iterate with intention. Evolve the idea without losing the soul of it.

Evaluation

Bi-annual meetings to review progress across core responsibilities, professional, and personal goals.

Requirements
  • 2โ€“4+ years of design experience in architecture, experience design, spatial design, or a related creative field.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in architecture, fine arts, interior design, or equivalent work experienceโ€”formal architectural training is appreciated but not required.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates conceptual range, aesthetic sophistication, and comfort working across scales.

  • Strong skills in visual communication: sketching, mood-making, spatial storytelling.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar. 3D rendering, AI rendering.

  • Genuine curiosity for art, culture, technology, and sensorial experience.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skillsโ€”you are as comfortable in a concept conversation as you are presenting work to a client.
